Today is the last day and we are scheduled to arrive in Kansas CIty mid afternoon. Our route is the former Golden State  route into Kansas City. Once we arrive at Union Station, the cars in our train are split. shuffled, and some are turned by an efficient KCT yard crew. The cars will be added to several different trains on the following day.

A large group of passengers celebrate this magnificent trip with a hearty dinner at Jack’s Stack Freight House across from the station, and then we all split in individual directions to head home.
